Give users the right access by assigning them roles - one person or many at a time.
User Assignments is where administrators assign roles to users and manage who has which role. Each role comes with its own set of permissions (set up in Roles & Permissions), so assigning a role decides what a user can see and do in PrimeHR.
How to Access User Assignments
Log in to the Admin Panel.
Go to Settings → User Management → User Assignments.
How to Assign a Role
Under Users, select one or more users from the dropdown.
Under Select Role, choose the role to assign.
Click Assign Role.
The users now have the permissions that come with that role. To create a new role or change a role’s permissions, see Roles & Permissions.
Current Role Assignments
All existing role assignments appear in the Current Role Assignments table, showing:
User - the user’s name, email address, and employee ID
Role - the assigned role, along with the user’s designation or job title, where available
Permissions - how many permissions come with the assigned role
Actions - remove the role assignment
Use the search bar to find a specific user or role.
How to Remove or Change a Role
Find the user in the Current Role Assignments table.
Click Remove next to the role assignment.
Before removing a role, make sure the user no longer needs that access. To give them different access, assign the new role using the steps above.
