This is where every asset lives - add them, assign them, and track them from here.
The Asset Registry is the central place where all your company's assets are recorded. Once an asset is added here - a laptop, a vehicle, an office chair - you can see everything about it in one place: who has it, its status, its warranty, and its full history.
What you can do here
Add a new asset - register one item at a time with its full details
Import assets in bulk - upload a spreadsheet to add many assets at once, instead of entering them one by one
Assign assets to employees - link an asset to whoever's using it, so it's always clear who's responsible
View and update asset details - check or edit an asset's information anytime
Track warranty and depreciation - see when a warranty is expiring or what an asset is currently worth
Transfer an asset - move it from one employee to another (e.g., when someone changes teams)
Replace an asset - mark an old asset as replaced when you issue a newer one
Return an asset - record that an asset has come back to the company (e.g., during offboarding)
Scrap or delete an asset - remove an asset that's no longer usable or no longer needs tracking
How to add a new asset
Go to Asset Registry.
Click Add Asset.
Select the Asset Type you created earlier (e.g., Laptop, Office Chair).
Enter the asset's details - serial number, purchase date, vendor, cost, etc.
Assign it to an employee, or leave it unassigned for now.
Click Save.
