Send your PrimeHR employees to Tally Prime as ledgers, in one step.
Employee Export creates employee ledgers in your Tally company from the employee records in PrimeHR. It’s useful when your employees are set up in PrimeHR first, and you want Tally to have a matching ledger for each of them, ready for payroll sync.
Before you start
Complete and save Connection Settings, and make sure the connection test passes
Under Employee Integration, select the Tally groups the employee ledgers should go into
Make sure Tally Prime is open, with your company loaded
How to Export Employees
Go to Settings → Organization Settings → Tally Integration, and open the Employee Export tab.
Click Start Direct Export.
Follow the Export Steps as the export moves through six stages:
Load settings from server
Fetch employees from server
Connect to Tally directly
Export employees to Tally
Update server with results
Complete
Keep Tally Prime open, with your company loaded, until the last step shows Complete.
The final step records the results in PrimeHR, so you can see which employees were exported.
If the export fails
Check that Tally Prime is open with the right company loaded, then check your Connection Settings and the groups selected under Employee Integration, and try again.
