Plan the exact order of your field team’s client and site visits - and track each route from start to finish.
Route Plans lets administrators and authorized managers create ordered routes for field visits. Each route is a list of client or site stops arranged in the order they should be visited, so field employees know exactly where to go next, and managers can see which routes are planned, underway, or done.
How to Create a Route Plan
Log in to the Admin Panel.
Go to Field Tracking → Tasks → Route Plans.
Click Create Route Plan.
Fill in the route details (see below).
Click Create Plan.
To close the panel without saving, click Cancel.
Route Plan Details
Route Plan Name - a name to identify the route
Stop Type - choose Client or Site
Add Stops - select the clients or sites to visit, in the order they should be visited
Notes - optional instructions or information for the route
Assigning a Route
Route Plans can be assigned to field employees through the task assignment process. Assigning a route helps employees follow the planned sequence of client or site visits.
Route Plan Rules
Every route plan needs a name and at least one stop
A route can contain either clients or sites, not both
Only stops matching the selected Stop Type can be added
Stops stay in the order you add them when the plan is saved
Notes are optional
Only authorized users can create or manage route plans
Route Plan Status
The status cards at the top show how many routes are at each stage:
Planned - the route hasn’t started yet
In Progress - the route is currently being carried out
Completed - the route is finished
Managing Route Plans
All route plans appear in the listing, showing each plan’s name, type, and stops. Filter the list by type (Client or Site) and by status to find specific routes. Depending on your permissions, you can view route details and monitor their progress.
